SCS DTGD 2017 - LMcAree

Image - pre colored digi by Beccy's Place; misc papers; Martha Stewart border punch.  The doo-dads in the lower part of the image are an accident  I think worked out ok.  I was trying to use a punch with a bit of a scroll and tiny flowers.  It jammed and cut parts each time I tried.  So I just used the bits and pieces to fill in an area indicated by the sketch.  I hope that eventually I will get the punch to work!
This is one more entry in the Fan Club annual challenge at SplitCoastStampers - membership required to participate.

I have been waiting for a chance to use this DP (DCWV Heritage) together with this sentiment - and I think she looks like she could take on any one on her way - and she did not have time to change from her slippers LOL!  It also gave me a chance to use a chip board strip from a Basic Grey packet.

I am trying to complete all the challenges for this year's Dare to get Dirty challenges at SplitCoastStampers - open to their Fan Club members.  It should also give me a chance to work a bit on Christmas cards.   Image -a new one from Recollection, colored with water colors.  For the small panel I used a bit of mesh from a roll - a nice touch to add but it frays a LOT!  The blue panel is embossed with a stars EF.  Old:  I have had the blue cs, the oval dies, the mesh and the embossing folder for some time.

See my previous posts for more information about the annual Dare To Get Dirty challenges at SplitCoastStampers.  You do need to join the Fan Club to participate.  This Rubbernecker image is a favorite, but I just do not have many occasions to use it.  I backed it with a panel using a technique with water and re-inkers.  The image is stamped in Memento Txedo Black and colored with water color pencils and an Aqua pen. I used this panel from DCWV Heritage to resemble old fashioned wallpaper, and of course that tub as well is the fellow in it are vintage!

Psalm 91 ~ Guest Designer card for Imagine that DigiStamp

Psalm 91

This is my second card as a guest designer for Imagine That DigiStamp.  I chose the pre-colored version of the bird on a branch, and used the sympathy sentiment.  These papers were bits from my stash repeated the colors of the image.  I added some die cut leaves and butterflies cut from a bit of cs, and a bit of glittery ink to the branch.  This set has thoughtful verses, and you may choose either the pre-colored or black and white version to print yourself.  You may also print a version that has both the bird and the verse from Psalm 91 in the same panel.
I rounded the corner of the sentiment tag to make it blend better with the image.  I added punched butterflies to fill in what I thought was a bit too much white space!
