Spring Flowers

Today I used somewhat bolder colors for a spring card - but I think this sunshiny look definitely says spring.  The image is from a set called Happy Birthday by Our Daily Bread. I used Twnkling H20's and an aqua pen, with some accents from metallic gel pens.  It all looks very sparkly IRL, but not on the screen.  The mat is Burning Ember, but I no longer have a company name for it.  The Apricot CS is by AMuse, and the white is GP. I used a bit of lace ribbon, some flowers from Pizzazz Aplenty, and the leaves from a die cut I used during a get together with friends.  I was kind of out of space, so the dots are from a gel pen. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the scallops, and a corner rounder punch.

I was inspired by the overall collage, and in particular by the flowers in the top center of this lovely inspiration piece: http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/
